Event: The U.S. Embassy in Niamey’s consular section has returned to normal operating status. Diori Hamani International Airport is open and functioning as normal. The Embassy reminds U.S. citizens to review the current for Niger and routinely check for updates.

Actions to Take:

Review the current Travel Advisory for Niger and routinely check for updates.
Stay alert at all times.
Review your personal security plans.
Ensure you have a valid passport.
