Location: Downtown Warsaw
The U.S. Embassy is aware of planned demonstrations that will occur in Warsaw on Saturday March 28, 2026. Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate quickly. Local authorities may increase security measures, including road closures, traffic restrictions, or increased police presence in areas where demonstrations occur.
Event 1
A religious procession is scheduled to take place from 11:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. The participants will gather at the Prime Minister’s Chancellery and walk along Aleje Ujazdowskie, Plac na Rozdrożu, Aleja Wyzwolenia, Plac Zbawiciela, Mokotowska, Piękna, Aleje Ujazdowskie, Plac Trzech Krzyży, Nowy Świat, Rondo DeGaulle’a, Nowy Świat, Krakowskie Przedmieście, to finish at Plac Zamkowy. Police expect approximately 1,000 people to take part in this event.
Event 2
A demonstration protesting racism and fascism is scheduled to take place from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. The participants will gather at the Centrum metro station and proceed alongMarszalkowska, Piekna (in front of the U.S. Embassy), and Wiejska Streets to finish at the Parliament building (Sejm).

- Remain alert to your surroundings and possible threats.
