Location: Port-au-Prince, Haiti

Event: Increased likelihood of demonstrations and protests including in areas near the airport and in the vicinity of the U.S. Embassy on May 1st. Demonstrations may begin peacefully but can escalate rapidly and unpredictably. The U.S embassy will be closed in observance of the public holiday on May 1st.

  • Keep a low profile
  • Monitor the local media for updates
