Event: Four Day Lockdown in Perth and Peel region.
The Government of Western Australia has announced a four-day lockdown for the Perth metropolitan area and the Peel region effective from 12:01 a.m. on June 29, 2021, until 12:01 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021. People in these regions will be required to stay at home except for when engaged in essential activities. When outside of the home, residents will be required to wear masks. During the lockdown period, the Consulate will be closed to all routine consular services, including passport, consular report of birth abroad, notary, and visa applications. U.S. citizens in need of critical emergency services should contact PerthACS@state.gov.
