Event: A demonstration is expected to take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Plaza Libertad in Montevideo, Uruguay, and moving towards the U.S. Embassy in Montevideo at Lauro Müller 1776. As with all demonstrations, U.S. Government personnel are advised to avoid crowds and the areas where demonstrations are taking place.
