Dual citizen males may experience delays in their return to the United States from Azerbaijan if they did not satisfy their mandatory military service according to the law. Consult officials at the Embassy or Consulates of Azerbaijan with any questions before entering Azerbaijan, as the U.S. Embassy in Baku cannot resolve this problem for affected individuals.
