Legal Stay in Slovenia
· The Slovenian government announced March 30 that it would automatically extend the legal entry period for foreign nationals currently in Slovenia. This includes those who entered on visa waiver (normally 90 day stays) and long-term visas, as well as temporary residents. For this reason, American citizens do not need to worry about visiting a local police station to prolong their stay during the epidemic.
Medical situation in Slovenia:
· As of 31 March, Slovenia has confirmed 802 cases of COVID-19 within its borders, including 15 deaths, with 119 hospitalized and 28 in intensive care.
