Event: Authorities report that protests are expected in the vicinity of U.S. Embassy Tokyo, the U.S. Consulate General Osaka, and the U.S. Consulate General Sapporo on June 22, 2025. Protestors are expected in the vicinity of these locations and surrounding neighborhoods.
There is currently no information to indicate that protests will become violent; however, conditions in large gatherings may change without warning. There may be additional protests in the future in various locations. U.S. government personnel are advised to avoid large crowds and protests, including the Embassy area during the period of the protest.
