Armenia’s official election season began on May 8, 2026, with elections scheduled for June 7, 2026. Throughout this period, political rallies and possible protests are likely in downtown Yerevan and throughout the country.

What to Expect:

Large crowds are unpredictable. Confrontations among event attendees, counterdemonstrators, and police may occur with little or no warning. Civil disruption may include spontaneous road closures and police checkpoints throughout Armenia.
