Consular personnel from the U.S. Embassy in Lima will visit Cusco on April 8-9, 2026 and April 22-23, 2026. U.S. citizens in Cusco may request appointments for the following services: passport renewals, registering birth abroad to U.S. citizen parent(s), and notarial services. A limited number of appointments will be offered to individuals who submit complete requests by e-mail as outlined below. Additional details, such as time and location in Cusco, will be provided once appointments are confirmed.
Passport appointments will be available for adults and minors. As appointments are limited, adult eligible for mail-in application services are encouraged to use the mail-in passport renewal program.
To request a passport appointment, send the following documents to LimaACS@state.gov with the subject “Passport Application CUSCO” and your name:
CRBA appointments will be available to document U.S. citizenship of a child born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent or parents.
To request a CRBA appointment, follow these steps:
Once your e-mail with the eCRBA case number is received, the case will be reviewed and you will be contacted by email to schedule an appointment for an interview with the Consular Officer in Cusco. The presence of the parents and the child/children is required on the day of the appointment.
