As a result of multiple rounds of gunfire heard near the Embassy compound, all U.S. direct hire personnel are restricted to the U.S. Embassy and U.S. Embassy residential compounds until further notice. Travel between the compounds is also restricted until further notice.
Actions to take:
· Avoid the area;
· Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;
· Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and
· If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
