Event: The Dutch Ministry of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) has confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Netherlands.
The Department of State has issued a Global Level 4 Health Advisory for COVID-19. Many travelers worldwide have reported unexpected flight cancellations and limited flight availability. If your travel has been disrupted, please contact your airline.
Effective March 17, 2020 the U.S. Consulate General Amsterdam has suspended routine consular services. For emergency American Citizens Services, including emergency passports, please visit our website for additional information or contact us via email atAmsterdamUSC@state.gov.
The U.S. Consulate General Amsterdam will re-open to the public for emergency consular services on Monday, March 23 and resume normal business hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
