Flights from Montego Bay (Sangster International Airport)
Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport is open for commercial operations. Confirm your flight status with your airline before traveling to any airport to prevent unnecessary congestion. Montego Bay Airport officials continue to provide updates on Facebook (@MBJAirport). We strongly recommend only traveling to the airport during daytime hours.
Be Prepared
Travelers may be required to wait outside Sangster Airport for their flights where entry may not be permitted until boarding time. U.S. citizens are advised to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged outdoor exposure due to high temperatures and limited shade, which may pose health risks.
Flights from Kingston (Norman Manley International Airport)
Kingston’s Norman Manley International Airport is open for commercial operations. If you are unable to secure a departure from Montego Bay’s airport, you may be able to find a flight out of Kingston instead. Private transportation is available from Montego Bay to Kingston. Exercise caution if you choose to travel by land. We strongly recommend only traveling during daytime hours. If you travel to Kingston without a confirmed flight, plan to make hotel arrangements until you have a confirmed departure.
