Health Alert: Guinea, Chartered Flight Scheduled to Depart Conakry on Tuesday, April 7

Subject: Message for U.S. Citizens: US Government Charter from Conakry to Dulles Airport-Tuesday, April 7 

 

A special chartered flight for U.S. citizens is scheduled to depart Conakry on Tuesday April 7 2020 for Dulles Airport in the Washington DC area.  

 

All passengers will need to reimburse the U.S. Government for the flight, and a promissory note for approximately $1,137.00 must be signed at the airport before boarding. No cash or credit card payments will be accepted. You will be responsible for any arrangements or costs (lodging, onward destination or local transportation, etc.) beyond your initial destination in the U.S. If you foresee problems meeting this responsibility or have any immediate health concerns, please explain in the “Special considerations” field of the form. 

 

Message for Confirmed Passengers 

 

Confirmed passengers for this charter flight HAVE BEEN PERSONALLY NOTIFIED via email.  Confirmed passengers do NOT need to complete the form mentioned below as long as they did so yesterday.  Confirmed passengers must monitor their for important messages regarding airport procedures and airport arrival times. 

 

Those who completed a form yesterday 

 

Prospective Passengers who received an email yesterday with a request to complete the online form do not need to do anything further.  We will send confirmation emails later today if we are able to confirm your seat on this flight 

 

All others 

 

Individuals without an email confirmation for this flight and who did NOT receive an email yesterday asking them to complete this online form, the flight is still open for registration U.S. citizens and U.S. Legal Permanent Residents until 3 p.m. today. 

 

You must go to this link to register for this flight.  Please have all passports at hand before completing the form, as well as your U.S. addresses and phone numbers.  This opportunity closes at 3 p.m. today, Sunday, April 5.
