OSAC Bureau of Diplomatic Security U.S. Department of State
Dear OSAC members,
We are excited to announce that the OSAC.gov platform is getting a complete upgrade. Improvements will roll out in phases throughout the year, with Phase 1 launching on April 7, 2026. Updates will include a more intuitive interface, enhanced search, interactive maps, and a mobile-friendly display.
To ensure uninterrupted access, please note that all OSAC members and newsletter subscribers will be required to update their passwords on April 7, 2026 and every 60-days thereafter. Password resets will go to the email in your OSAC profile so act now to ensure you have access to that email.
As of April 7, 2026, there will no longer be “Full” and “Limited” OSAC access. There will only be OSAC members and newsletter subscribers. Newsletter subscribers may continue to use any email address to receive the newsletter only. But all member profiles must contain emails associated with their current OSAC-registered organization employer (no Gmail addresses, etc.).
To check the email associated with your account:
Go to www.OSAC.gov and click “Login” in the upper right corner of the page:
Enter your username and password in the pop-up window:
Once logged in, click on your profile icon in the upper right of your screen and select “Manage Profile”
The email associated with your account is in the Email Address section:
If you no longer have access to this email, contact OSACadmin@state.gov immediately to update to your current work email.
If your employer organization is not registered with OSAC, review the OSAC membership criteria to check whether it is eligible. If so, the senior-most security representative at your organization must submit an application on your organization’s behalf. If the organization is approved, all employees with overseas security responsibilities are then encouraged to apply to become OSAC members.
We’re excited to share this enhanced platform with you soon so be sure to confirm your profile's email access now so you can enjoy uninterrupted access.
Thank you in advance for your patience while we test and roll out many site updates over the coming year. We encourage you to explore these new features and share your thoughts with us as we proceed. Your valued input always helps us continue to improve.
Sincerely,
OSAC Admin OSACadmin@state.gov
