Temporary Pause on RSO-Mexico City OSAC Consultations During Embassy Move

Dear OSAC Members,

Through the months of November and December the staff at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City will begin the largest embassy move in U.S. Department of State history, as they transition from the old embassy along Av. Paseo de la Reforma to the new embassy compound in Polanco. As a result of this all-hands effort by embassy staff, the Regional Security Office in Mexico City has requested a temporary pause on meetings with OSAC members so they are able to focus resources on ensuring a safe and smooth move to their new facility.

In the interim, RSO-Mexico City appreciates your patience during this transition. OSAC members with questions about Mexico are requested to send their inquiries to OSACAmericas@state.gov, or reach out to the consulate RSOs if your questions pertain to their area of responsibility (AOR). Thank you in advance!

Best,
OSAC Americas Team
