Security Message for U.S. Citizens: Juba (South Sudan), Security Situation Update

The U.S. Embassy in Juba is closely monitoring the political and security situation in South Sudan as a result of recent changes in military leadership.  As of May 10, the security situation in Juba remained unchanged. 

U.S. Citizens in South Sudan should continue to maintain high levels of situational awareness and to monitor local media and the Embassy website.  Review the Department of State’s Travel Warning for South Sudan
