Security Message for U.S. Citizens: Nairobi (Kenya), Increase of Violence in Laikipia, Baringo, and Other Bordering Counties

In recent weeks there has been an increase in violent incidents in some parts of Laikipia, Baringo, and bordering counties related to increased migration of people and livestock across regions of Kenya amid drought conditions.  Violent incidents have been sporadic and isolated, but travelers are nevertheless reminded to be alert and maintain personal safety precautions.
