Security Alert: Halifax (Canada), Protest at U.S. Consulate General on November 8

Event:  Please be aware that on Thursday November 8th, 2018 a demonstration is scheduled to take place in Halifax at 5:00pm.  Demonstrators will be gathering in front of the U.S. Consulate General at 1969 Upper Water Street.

 

Actions to Take:

  • Avoid the areas of the demonstrations.
  • Exercise caution in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.
  • Monitor local media for updates.
  • Keep a low profile.
