Overview: The Overseas Security Advisory Council and the University of Arizona will hold the next Academic Working Group Travel Safety & Security Seminar in Tucson, Arizona.  Sessions will focus on issues pertinent to higher education institutions and applicable to other sectors’ international travel programs. Pre-seminar workshops and trainings on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 9 and 10, will cover many topics, including suicide prevention, mindfulness, emergency planning, and a table top exercise.  The seminar on Thursday, April 11 will cover topics for the resilient traveler and managing risks abroad.  Both seminar and pre-seminar events will be held on the University of Arizona campus. 

Bring your passport!  On Friday, seminar participants are invited to attend the Nogales Country Council, held at Chamberlain in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico.  

All OSAC constituents are welcome to attend the domestic and international events.
