Emergency Message for U.S. Citizens: Mumbai (India), U.S. Consulate Mumbai Closed-August 30

U.S. Consulate General Mumbai will be closed on August 30 and all non-emergency consular services will be rescheduled.  For emergencies only, please contact the Consulate’s Duty Officer at +91-22-2672-4000.

Due to expected heavy rains for the next 48 hours, areas in and around Mumbai may be subject to significant flooding. The U.S. Consulate General strongly urges U.S. citizens to follow instructions from local authorities, seek shelter, stay indoors and monitor local news.
