Event: Message to U.S. citizens regarding updated COVID-19 measures in Luxembourg.
On November 25, the Luxembourg government adopted additional measures to combat the spread of the Coronavirus. The new restrictions become effective Thursday, November 26 and will remain in effect until December 15, 2020. Main points are:
· Restaurants and cafés are closed.
· Cinemas and indoor playgrounds are closed.
· The curfew currently in effect from 11:00 p.m. to 06:00 a.m. each day has been extended until December 15, 2020.
· No more than two guests are allowed in private homes. These guests must be from the same household.
· Indoor sport activities are prohibited. Physical education in schools and professional sporting clubs are exempt from this restriction. Outdoor individual sport activities are permitted but limited to a maximum of four people.
