Consular Agency Fortaleza will be temporarily closed from September 3, 2026, through October 12, 2026. Routine American Citizens Services, including Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, passport applications, and notarial services, will not be available during this period. U.S. citizens in Ceará who require emergency assistance during this period should contact the U.S. Consulate General in Recife.
