2024 OSAC Annual Briefing Photo Album

What a historic OSAC Annual Briefing, with record-breaking audiences of over 1,400 security professionals from U.S. organizations operating worldwide gathering at Amazon HQ2 in Arlington, Va November 20-21!

Check out our downloadable photo album here: osac.canto.com/b/UELCD

See moments from remarks by Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other Department of State leadership; panels and presentations covering cybersecurity and AI, biological threats, evacuations, maritime security, and hostage recovery; this year's OSAC Award winners; student mentorship meetups; and the many other chances to connect like the OSAC Women in Security and OSAC Global Security Pride receptions, and The Security Foundation (TSF) dinner, celebrating invaluable sponsors, supporting OSAC programming around the world.

We also commemorated the many years of service of our former Council members as we transitioned to a true Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and formalized the sunsetting of OSAC's nearly 40-year existence as a federal advisory committee through a Memorandum of Understanding. Director of the Diplomatic Security Service Carlos Matus signed with The Security Foundation Executive Director Peggy O'Neill and private-sector partners, Danny Holtsclaw - Wildlife Conservation Society and Greg Wurm - Elevance Health. With this change, OSAC is retiring its former name of "Overseas Security Advisory Council" and will now be known solely as "OSAC."

We're grateful to the many OSAC members, RSOs, PPP Board members, Common Interest Committee and Country Chapter leadership, and all esteemed speakers who joined us this year. Your timely exchange of information and bonds made at this and other OSAC events year-round are helping to keep U.S. interests safe worldwide.

Be sure to download and share photos using hashtagOSACweek and we look forward to seeing you all next November!
